XNA Framework

I’ve been pretty busy lately with Margaux and work but as you might have read already, we’ve recently announced the XNA Framework. Among many things, this means we now have .Net running on 360 ( \o/ ) and it also means I can finally start talking about my recent work here at Microsoft. This is what I’ve been (so secretly) working on over these last few months and it’s been the best job I’ve had in my career. We’re far from done but we’re making good progress and it’s a lot of fun. I’ll try to post more as this develops and we announce more.
In related news, Tom Miller, the man behing managed Dx, is now also part of the XNA team and has a post talking about the future of MDX 2.0. Albert, a PM on our team, has also started blogging. This is going to be fun…

Oh and by the way, we’ve also made available our first preview of XNA Build, along with the complete source code (including art assets) for MechCommander 2. Check it out!
